Con Weekend Upon Us

Hey Crew:
So the convention season is soon to be wrapped up for the year. Before we can say good bye to 2010, we have two big daddy's this weekend, DragonCon and Pax Prime. The first being in Atlanta, GA with the likes of:
Brent Spiner (Data from Star-Trek Next Generation)
Jewel Staite (Firefly, Stargate Atlantis)
Billy West (Stimpy of Ren and Stimpy and Futurama)
along with so many others... DragonCon Guest List
PAXPRIME, Seattle Wa
Wil Wheaton (Star-Trek Next Generation, The Guild, Big Bang Theory)
... and well the rest is a number of groups;
Microsoft
XBOX
SEGA
RoosterTeeth

Now as published, I will be lucky enough to be attending PAX, and we are working on picking up some media passes for the event, but either way we will be there and we have a few interviews lined up. We look forward to broadcasting event news and updates, and soon some pictures and video's.
As your getting ready for these events, make sure you are prepared. Remember your necessary traveling ID, and insurance. Vitamins and eating proper food is important if you want to keep yourself supplied and ready for what the weekend holds. Simple fact is that if you are enjoying the event to it's fullest, sleep will be far down your list of priorities. Also in the memory of those who had H1N1 last year (including myself) remember to wash your hands, bring anti-bacteria wash, and don't touch your face with your hands unless 100% necessary.
That being said, travel safe, have fun, take tons of pictures, be it Atlanta or Seattle. If you are at PAX though and you run into Robert Khoo, Gabe or Tycho, make sure you say "Thank-You" for the great party they toss every year.

Launch Day

Hey Crew:
I want to thank you all for being so patient with us as we get all of the behind the scenes work completed. So here we are September 1st and we have a number of updates for you.

4) PAX is this weekend. GGM will be there, and although we will most likely be without MEDIA badges, we will be taking photo's, video's, and we have a few interviews lined up and look forward to posting them on the site. As well this weekend we will be announcing the official day for the next Child's Play Charity.

Sites, XBOX and more..

I apologize for the lack of updates, I have been heavily focused on our partner sites and updating them.
Balls2That Luke McKay has been out of town, so I have taking care of all the updates, and we getting V2.0 ready to launch in less then 2 months time. The first Blendy T-Shirt is up for pre-sale purchase, and will begin shipping in the first week of September.
RvBCanwest Updating the calender, about to change up the news script so we can post more regular updates. As well look to see there is an XBOX Live playdate coming up next Sunday the 29th.
Luke McKay's site We are building the shell for this site, and we hope to have it running in time for the first week of September. Thus far we have the pre-order of Luke's personal sketch book ready for order.
Jeff Sonich's site We are also building a shell for this great artist. We are going to build galleries, information and look to put a place where you can purchase copies of his work very soon.
CanadianLogan Blog This site, like any mechanic's car has the least of the priorities and seems to change designs faster then we sort out what we are going to do with it. It is planned to be a heavy blog of places, pictures, videos and environment around the world of Canadianlogan and his friends... but first to find time to get all the other sites done, so that we can get this site rolling.
So there you have it, more then a few projects. On top of all this we have only 2 months till the next GGM / Child's Play Charity auction. We already have a poster, a lancer gun, a signed faceplace, some controllers in the works and much more.
There is your update for events till now, but we will be back soon with more information and entertainment for you, the Good Gamer.

PAX PRIME

Hey everyone, with only 32 days left before PAX Prime and with not only the 3 day passes sold out, but also the Saturday passes sold out, question is... did you get yours?
It seems PAX much like comiccon, blizcon, dragoncon and so many others are selling out faster and faster every year. Considering this happening for events that are only once a year (as long as you consider PAX West and PAX East as two different identities) how long till tickets being announced to go on sale are like every band you have wanted to see for your entire life that sell out in 5 minutes, and it is down to scalpers, and re-sellers on the internet that hold all the tickets? All I can say is that I am getting in line for my tickets for most all cons for now on and buying them on day one, no more hanging out side of the event, cause in the end if you really want to go, the last thing you want to hear is how great it was from all the people you follow on your twitter.

RvBCanWest has been updated. With only 2 pages left to update (waiting the return of the sites owner) it is ready for your viewing pleasure, set up for future News, and ready to grow as the community embraces Vancouver's premier chance to celebrate the world of all things RoosterTeeth and the studios and creators who bring and develop similar products.
With this site complete GGM has 3 new primary projects coming up, one we hope to be able to announce to you next week that will involve forms of merchandise for ourselves and our partners. As well we hope to have a store hosting all of those items up very shortly as well. Thank you for following, and we will see you soon on Twitter for the upcoming contest.
